Door gericht aandacht te geven aan gedachten, gevoelens en lichamelijke ervaringen word je bewust van gewoontes en patronen. Dit kan je helpen om te kiezen voor een effectievere manier van omgaan met belemmerende stress, drukte, piekeren, onrust of pijn. Onplezierige ervaringen uit het verleden kunnen onbewust ons handelen be\u00efnvloeden. Door bewust de situatie waarin jij je bevindt opnieuw en zonder oordeel te bekijken en vanuit aandacht te handelen kan dit ons welbevinden bevorderen.<\/span><\/p><p>Mindfulness is eigenlijk een manier van leven waarbij je ontvankelijk en bewust door het leven gaat. Je leert zaken die niet veranderd kunnen worden te erkennen en voor zover mogelijk te accepteren. Daarnaast kan je ook leren te genieten van kleine \u00e8n grote gebeurtenissen in je leven zodat je evenwichtiger in het leven staat en je levenskwaliteit toeneemt.<\/p><p>Natuurlijk blijven er uitdagingen, teleurstellingen, verdrietige momenten en moeilijke perioden.
